"A Day at the Park,"

Progressive Reader:

This afternoon, I went to the park with my mom. The sky was clear, and the sun was shining brightly. I saw tall trees with green leaves, and the grass was soft under my feet. After playing on the swings for a while, I ran to kick a ball across the field. Birds were flying above, singing cheerful songs. My mom relaxed on a bench, keeping an eye on me as I played. Going to the park is one of my favorite activities, especially on sunny days like this.
